Notes on the 3rd Good News Cup and Local Qualifying Meet :
(1) Qualifying Meet will be held in three Local Areas:  Queens,  Manhattan and Brooklyn.
(2) For Locations and time of the Meeting, please call the Person in Charge of that Location.

Tentative time for the meets:
Manhattan - 6/15 - 25, will meet at NEW XQ LOUNGE AT 22D Howard St, Chinatown.
Queens -  6/18 , and 6/25, will be held in the FLUSHING CCHC CENTER 4F 39-07 Prince St.
Brooklyn - 6/12, and 6/19  at Brooklyn Church, and ChinaTown Senior Center.
(3) Qualification for exemption for the Qualifying Meet: Candidate must,
a) Rank the top 3 in the following XQ open meet this past 12 months: 1) Good News Cup in Oct.
2004; 2) N.A.XQ annual Meet in Feb. 2005 or 3)  XQ world Cup Select Meet for U.S. N.E. Candidates,
held in July 2004, in  New York.  
b) Serving to help in this Good News Cup.    c) Apply for this contest and exemption before 6/4/05
(4) For Out of Town Contestant/Candidates: (Like: Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, Houston etc.)
If you can arrange around 8 candidates to join and will play in June.  We could host a Qualifying
Meet in your area.  Please contact: GouHeZu (917) 683 0120 before 6/4/2005
(5) Roughly : For every 8 - 12 candidates, one may got into the final. An area have more candidates
 may end up having more contestants in the final.
(6) Rough estimate of final meet on 7/16 and 7/17,  held in the NEW XQ LOUNGE 22 D howard
Street. China Town. :
Exempted Candidates 5, From Queens 2 +1(Senior Citizen) Manhattan 1 + 1(SC) Brooklyn 3 + 1 SC
From Out of Town 3,  TOTAL = 16 - 20 Contestants. They will play 7 games under the Swiss System.
Each game is limited to 2hrs. 15minutes.
